We will tour Marrakech, Ouzoud Waterfalls, Imilchil, Amellago Gorges, Goulmima, Merzouga where we will go all by track 130 km bordering the dunes and we will see the two oases of Merzouga, to continue touring Todra Gorges, Dades Gorges, El Kalaa M’Gouna, Aït Ben Haddou and back to Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech
Reception and transfer to the Riad located 5 minutes from the famous Jemaa El Fna square. Dinner in the square.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Imilchil.
This first stage begins with the visit of the Ouzoud Waterfalls (splendid waterfall 100 meters high). Lunch. Then, we will see the immense lake of Ben El Ouidane, which is located within the magnificent painting of the High Atlas. Arrival in Azilal, a small city located above the Atlas Mountains. We will continue to Imilchil, a Berber town famous for its customs according to which the girls of the Ait Hadiddou tribe usually choose husbands. This town is located in the High Atlas. Accommodation in a charming hotel.
Day 3: Imilchil – Amellago Gorges – Goulmima – Merzouga.
This route will allow us to discover the splendor of the High Atlas mountains. We will reach the Berber villages of Agoudal, Ait Hani and Assoul for 150 km. We will eat and continue to Amellago Gorges. Following the track towards the town of Tadighoust, we will reach Goulmima. We will take the road to the village of Erfoud, surrounded by tamarinds and palm trees. Here the road ends and the tracks begin through the desert. We will take one of them to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi (Merzouga). Night in a Kasbah with pool and air conditioning.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi (back in the dunes).
After breakfast, we will go all along track 130 km along the dunes and we will see the two oases of Merzouga, the nomads, the town of Khamlia (known as “village of the blacks”), the mines of Mifiss, the desert plateaus, the oasis Tissardmine We will return to the hostel about 3 in the afternoon. Then, mounted on dromedaries, we will go to the heart of the dunes to attend the sunset and sleep in a wild oasis located two hours away, in the middle of the desert. We will spend the night in the haimas.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges.
Visit the city of Rissani, the former economic capital of Morocco and the first imperial city of the country, its great souk under the red arcades and its many souks. Then we will follow the road that goes to the Tinghir village where we will visit the valley and the spectacular Todra Gorges. Food and asphalt road to the Dades Valley. Then we continue to the valley of Rosas where we stayed Berber cottage.
Day 6: The Kalaa M’Gouna – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech.
Transfer by road to the town of Ouarzazate by the route of a thousand kasbahs, we will visit those of Ait Benhaddou and Tamdakht. We will then go to Marrakech through the port of Tizi N’Tichka. In the harbor, the landscape is magnificent and offers a wonderful contrast of colors. Night in a riad.
Day 7: Marrakech
Guided tour in Marrakech, the center of Morocco, for its ancient city (Medina), its colored souks, its famous Jemaa El Fna square and its animation day and night, its famous historical monuments such as La Menara, El Bahia palaces and The Badia, the Saadian tombs … Night in the same riad on the first day.
Day 8: Marrakech
Airport transfer.
