This route is recommended for adventurers and adventurers in 4×4 with numerous tracks. We will visit Marrakech, Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarazzate, Skoura, Boutaghrar, Dades, Nekoub, Zagora, Ramlia, Merzouga, Merzouga, Todra, Ouarzazate, Marrakech, Essaouira and finish at the Marrakech airport

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.

Reception at the airport and transfer to the riad, located 5 minutes from the square. From there it is easy to reach the minaret of the Koutoubia, an architectural treasure known as the “twin of the Sevillian giralda”. Later the square is filled with jugglers, water heaters, corkscrews, fortune tellers, henna tattooists, snake charmers and dancers. There are also groups of storytellers in Arabic, which preserve the authenticity of the square. At dusk small lighted and outdoor food stops are mounted, where you can taste all kinds of typical dishes. Dinner for free and accommodation in a riad.

Day 2: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarazzate (230 km of asphalt).

In the morning, guided tour of Marrakech, the central city of Morocco, with its old medina, its red souks, its famous Jemaa el Fna square and its animation day and night. After lunch we will leave Marrakech to head south to Morocco. We will cross the Atlas through the port of Tizi N’Tichka, which offers wonderful panoramic views over the high Atlas mountains before reaching Kasbah Telouet. After visiting the Kasbah, we will follow the crossing of the Atlas along a track that joins Telouet with the splendid Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site. We will arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation in a magnificent Kasbah.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Boutaghrar – Dades (70 km of asphalt and 90 km of track).

We will start by visiting the lake of Ouarzazate and then we will cross the palm grove of Skoura. Here begins the track towards the mountains of Amgoune. We will visit typical Berber villages and we can appreciate the beauty of the landscape. We will eat with a Berber family in the village of Boutaghrart. After a walk through the colorful Valley of the Roses, we will continue along the track to the Dades Gorges, where we will stay in a Berber house inside the gorges.

Day 4: Boumalne Dades – Nekoub – Zagora (110 km of asphalt and 100 km of track).

We will visit the Kasbah of the Glaoui before arriving at Boumalne in Dades and finally the village of Iknioun where the trail that crosses the Jebal Saghro, a chain of volcanic mountains begins. We will follow this track to the town of Nekoub, where we will have lunch. Then we will go along the track along the Kasbahs, the Ksars, the Draa river that borders the Draa Valley to Zagora. We will spend the night in a typical and cozy riad.

Day 5: Zagora – Ramlia – Merzouga (260 km of track).

We will cross a reg, a desert of stones, which is a true lunar landscape with immense extensions of dark stones until losing sight of, which gives a more mineral touch to the desert. We will visit several Berber villages in which its people live under tents of authentic nomads, oases, rivers and desert plateaus, before reaching the golden and pink, splendid and majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. We will spend the night in the lively hostel of Ali El Cojo, at the foot of the dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga

After breakfast, we will go around the dunes and see the two oases of Merzouga, the nomadic lands, the town of Khamlia, known as the “village of the blacks”, the Mifiss mines, the desert plateaus, the nomads and the Tissardmine oasis. We will return to the hostel about 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Then, mounted on dromedaries, we will go to the dunes to attend the sunset and sleep in a wild oasis located two hours away, in the middle of the desert. Night at Haimas camp with Berber music.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra – Ouarzazate (370 km).

We will return to the lodge in the dromedaries to have breakfast and take a shower, and then we will leave the desert towards the Rissani Bedouin village. We will visit its great souk and its beautiful palm grove before following the road route to the famous Todra Gorges, where we will eat. We will see the palm grove of Todra and on the way to Ouarzazate we will pass through the route of the Thousand Kasbahs and the gardens of Ouarzazate.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Marrakech – Essaouira (380 km).

Link to the red town of Marrakech crossing the High Atlas and arrival to the enigmatic Portuguese colonial city of Essaouira. Dinner and accommodation in the luxury riad Almadina.

Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech (150 km).

In the morning visit of the Medina of Essaouira. Lunch at the port, famous for good fish, and then walks along the beaches ds .. Transfer to Marrakech and accommodation in a double room in a charming riad. Dinner in a restaurant with shows and music.

Day 10: End of the trip and transfer to the airport.
